According to an old fan, on [[05.07.2011|May 7, 2011]] after a show Tyler Joseph talked to his audience about depression and suicide, they shared their stories of how they got through it and this really hit Tyler and he realized that he had to help others with depression, which inspired him to write the song [[Guns For Hands]].
